You can convert a bike trailer to a jogging stroller with manufacturers adapters and hitches that would ensure it is safely done. But doing the reverse is simply not safe.
Apart from the higher center of gravity of a jogging stroller, I am yet to find any manufacturer that provides accessories that will allow you do such a conversion.
Unless you are an experienced DIY enthusiast with the right skills and tools, and willing to accept the risks to children that will ride on it, I would not advise such a conversion.
Buy yourself a bike trailer that is designed by the manufacturer to convert to a jogging stroller. Your Child’s safety while been towed is paramount. There are many affordable quality brands in the market, the Baby Trend. Compare these pictures of a jogging stroller and a bike stroller, and see how radically different they are in designs, and how much lower to the ground a child would seat on a bike trailer.
In which one of these would you want your child to be towed by a bike on a busy road? The bike trailer, or the jogging stroller? My choice any day would be the bike trailer, no matter how well DIY conversion has been done on the jogging stroller. The bike trailer can be purchased for about $100 and the jogging stroller for less than $150.
