How to Remove the Rear Wheels on BOB Jogging Strollers

Removing the rear wheels on a BOB jogging stroller helps fold the stroller to a more compact size for storage in the house, or in the trunk of your car for that long family weekend adventure trips.

The rear wheel on BOB strollers are designed for quick release that can be achieved in three easy steps.

Removing BOB Stroller Rear Wheels in 3 Steps:

  1. Unlock parking brake
  2. Pull the release lever on the wheel
  3. Remove the wheel

    What happens if the lever is stuck and can’t pull it to remove wheel ?

      Hi Lisa,

      It is difficult to suggest a solution without more details on how “stuck” the lever is. Could it be dirt or rust that made it stuck? Ty applying some lubricating oil like WD40 to see if the lever will be easier to pull.

    I have the same problem. The wheels won’t release. Sand or dirt in the mechanism. Have tried air and wd40. Bob customer support stopped responding to me and offered no solution other than to buy an entirely new stroller (mine is two years old).

      Hi Richard,

      That is sad and very poor customer service. Bob customer support should have been more helpful, as their strollers don’t come cheap. I suggest giving them a call, if you have not already. You can find their contact number on the website.
