Key Features
Both strollers are made by BOB, a company known for their off the road strollers. So, it is not surprising that both of these strollers essentially have the same features and more. In fact, the two products have hardly any differences at all.
Here are a few of their similarities between the Bob Flex and the Pro
- Mountain Bike-style suspension. Both strollers feature a mountain bike suspension to easily go through any terrain. That way, your child doesn’t feel the bumps along the way.
- Adjustable padded handlebars. Parents can push the strollers along with ease thanks to the padded handlebars. What’s more, it can be adjusted to perfectly suit the parent’s height for maximum comfort.
- Air-filled tires. Maintenance on the stroller tires is simple as they are designed with air-filled tires.
- Easy two-step fold. After a long day of running and strolling through town, the last thing parents want to do is deal with a large stroller’s storage. Luckily, both strollers come with an easy two-step fold feature that makes it easy to fold up and store.
- Travel system ready. Both units are compatible with BOB infant car seats or Britax when using the BOB infant car seat adapter, which is sold separately.
BOB Revolution Flex compared side by side with BOB Revolution Pro. You can hardly spot the difference between the two jogging stroller, apart from the handbrake on the Revolution Pro – and that is, if you look closely at the two.

Safety Features on Bob Revolution Flex and Pro
Aside from cool and useful features, another thing parents look for in a stroller is how safe it is for their kids. The BOB Revolution FLEX and PRO have similar safety features, but something else sets them apart:
Similarities
- 5 Point Harness. Both strollers have a five-point harness that secures your child to their seats to prevent them from falling off.
- Large Canopy. The sun can be your enemy during walks, and if exposed for too long, can lead to sunburn. Luckily, both models are equipped with a UPF 50+ canopy that can keep the sun out of your child’s eyes, and even provide a handy shade in case of light rains during your walk.
- Locking Swivel Front wheel. Like with all jogger strollers in the market, both BOB models come with a front wheel that locks in place as needed. That gives you better stability when running on or off the trail.
- Parent Leash. Lastly, both strollers come with a parent leash that connects the handlebar to the parent’s leash. This prevents the stroller from running away from them especially during downhill walks.
Differences
- Handbrake. The BOB Revolution PRO stroller has an advantage in safety as it comes with a hand operated brake located on the handlebar allows you to put the stroller at a complete stop.

Con
Even the best jogging strollers have their own setbacks. Watch out for the cons of each stroller model:
BOB Flex
Parents who have bought the BOB Revolution Flex model were generally happy with their purchase. The one thing parents complained about the model was that, even though there were great improvements compared to previous models, there were also some design flaws.
The most significant of which is the stroller’s seat itself. Parents commented that it was shallow, and because of its size, older children within the weight limit found it to be a tight fit.
Otherwise, the stroller is perfect for parents who want to use it for everyday use, and also go for a run every once and awhile.
BOB Pro
The BOB PRO Jogger stroller is primarily designed for parents who want to do some serious off and on trail jogging with their child. Although similar in many ways with the Flex, it also has its fair share of problems as reported by parents on Amazon.
Their primary concern is that the lock for the front wheel isn’t as secure as parents would like. What’s more, it’s exclusive compatibility with the BOB Infant car seats makes it unappealing to parents who already have a car seat for their children, but are forced to buy a new one just for the stroller.
Conclusion
Both strollers are very similar. But if you want to introduce your child to the great outdoors, it is best to have the PRO over the Flex. That is why it is important to know what you want to do and how often you plan to use the jogger for its intended purpose.
However, if you want that added safety precaution when you’re out and about, then it might be worth pursuing the BOB PRO.
Whichever you decide to get, always put your child’s interest at heart.
